JEDDAH — With the fortune incessantly inclining to Sagmit Dental Clinic (SDC) it continued to dominate as it made undermanned Trojans no match to the aggressive performances of the entire SDC with the superlative scoring of Ruel Santoc. And it clinched its second Team of the Week honor on 3,820-3,168 final settlement in the 10th week of the FEDBG-FMBL 17th meet at Bowling City here.

Santoc spearheaded SDC lambast of their rival with his Bowler of the Week-winning total of 729 on scratch of 681 accumulated from games of 211, 226 and 244. Such impressive stint of Santoc inspired team head Ric Reformado for 654 built from all 200 and up scratches and Mhon Laxama for 706 underscored by 243 hi-game. These sterling triangular concreteness plus the average shares from TM Evelyn Santoc, Ding dela Rosa and Myrna Santoc compelled Trojans to sign a 22-0 final-point tallies. Cloyd Opeña tried boosting teammates with 623, but Edison Arena, Nestor Sanosa, Ruel Perez and team captain Sally Sanosa hardly met their averages to augment blocking.

Making news this week were the rival-blanker teams of Pin Slashers, Micah’s Pride and Global Intergold pinning down Cool Guys, Marinduquenos and Casadores, respectively. Except for team chief Dariel Loquias the rest of the Slashers collected 600 and up totals with Natty Caringal being the top scorer at 690 and was named Lady Bowler of the Week. Caringal won the coveted accolade on a back-to-back fashion on sterling games of 232, 212 and 256. James Galvan, Roger Daquioag, Andy Yumena and May Lourdes helped Pin Slashers wallop Cool Guys with totals of 668, 635, 616 and 610, respectively. Team captain Jun de Dios and Dylan Ilagan defended Cool Guys with 618 and 631.

Determined to keep its red line post, Micah’s Pride did not give cellar dweller opponent to harm it by fluke, so that though it faltered on the last set, it patiently worked on to save the endgame on the inspiration shown by Gneth Cerbito who top-scored with 656. Marinduquenos’ team captain James Monteleyola, aided by James Paulme tried blemishing the slate of Micah but Oca Bernabe, Paolo Allego, Ester Santoc Jeff San Pedro and TC Rolly Vistal handed staunch support to Cerbito to crush rival to 22-0 (3,533-3,259) submission. Head-on against the equally talented opponents, Global Intergold kept firm on its rudder and went straight on its target swiping Casadores and be wide-further from the cellar in pursuit to the teams barring it to the redline. Benjie Cils, Rudy Valenzuela and Pinky Acato primarily binged with 706, 629 and 600 for Global that undermined the 668 of Benj Esponosa for Casadores. This match was inked at 22-0 (3,490-3,261).

Other matches showed that Four Season edged Lane Axis at 12-10 (3,385-3,387) with George Mangaliman topping winners’ board and Bonnie Garcia and Aileen Miralbuna handed 612 and 609 obstruction for the losers. Ekis-8 outpointed FB Rhinos at 12-10 but the latter outsmarted the former at 3,528-3,444. Team captain Ernie Geslani and Alma Bacero earned most of Ekis’ points at 635 and 606 as Perter Colcol and Mariz Resano responded profusely with 715 and 606.
