Customs officers at King Fahd International Airport (KFIA) in Dammam foiled an attempt to smuggle 397 pieces of gold jewelry into the Kingdom. KFIA Customs Director General Yousef Al-Zakan said that during customs procedures a passenger was found carrying gold jewelry items hidden under his clothing. Al-Zakan advised passengers to declare at customs money or precious metals worth more than SR60,000.
