JEDDAH — Rajasthan Royals, IOE and Reliance won their matches in the ninth week of the Jeddah Premier League’s Asaduddin Owaisi Cup 2016.
This event is jointly sponsored by Dream India Group, Mumtaz Sports Academy, Al-Wafaq Al-Shaheqa Group and Qatar Airways Jeddah. The co-sponsors are B-Cola, Halwani Brothers and Khind Electronics.
The tourney is organized by Jeddah Premier League (JPL) under the auspices of Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA).
IOE, batting first, made 148-8 in 15 overs and in reply Gulbarga CC managed 79-9 in 11.1 overs. Qasim was named the Man of the Match for his 47 runs and 3 wickets.
Barik ATS posted 93-9 in 15 overs. Reliance reached 96 for 6 wickets in 11.3 overs. Anas was selected as the Man of the Match for his 4 wickets.
Kings XI Hyderabad was all out for 98 in 15 overs. In reply, Gulf West scored 104-2 in 7.1 overs. Asim was declared the Man of the Match for 45 runs in 25 balls.
KCC tallied 157-7 in 15 overs against Barkatiya XI, which was bowled out for 62 in 10 overs. Sibghath, who hit 41 and took 3 wickets, was named the Man of the Match.
Super Chargers managed 52 in 11.2 overs against Mahajar Heroes, which replied with 57-5 in 9.3 overs. The Man of the Match award went to Muneer who took 4 wickets.
Azizia XI recorded 160-4 in 15 overs and restricted Jeddah Strikers XI to 87-7.
Zain was selected as the Man of the Match for his 45 runs in 21 balls.
Rajasthan Royals made 162-7. In reply Azizia Deccan Royals was bowled out for 122 in 14.4 overs. Imran was adjudged the Man of the Match for his 43 runs and 3 wickets. — SG
