RIYADH – Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman sent a cable of condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin Saturday on the crash of a flydubai passenger plane as it was landing in Rostov-on-Don, in Southern Russia, claiming the lives of all on board, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
In his cable, the King said: “As we share with you and the friendly Russian people the pain due to this calamity, we express deep condolences and sympathy to Your Excellency, the families of the victims and the Russian people, on my own behalf and on behalf of the Saudi people and government.”
Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Naif, deputy premier and minister of interior and Deputy Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, second deputy premier and minister of defense sent similar cables of condolences to Russian President Putin.
