Jaber Patel urges KTT to avail govt welfare schemes

JEDDAH — Khak-e-Taiba Trust (KTT) Jeddah Center honored two visiting Indian social reformers Jaber Patel – president of, “India-Arab Friendship Foundation”, — and another iconic figure of Indian community Ghulam Yazdan,i who is the Managing Trustee of Khak-E-Taiba Trust Hyderabad here.

The felicitation function was also marked with a one-to-one meeting with the visiting dignitary Jaber Patel with the Khak-E-Taiba Trust Jeddah top officials and the executive committee members.

Welcoming the visiting dignitaries, senior trustee and ex-president KTT Jeddah Center Aijaz Ahmed Khan explained the role of KTT Jeddah center and also highlighted some of its compulsions that need to be redressed at a higher level for a smooth functioning of its welfare missions back home in India.

Aijaz sought the help from the visiting delegate Jaber Patel in expanding KTT wings into Afro-Arab countries and to have a full recognition of its services as separate entity. Aijaz said KTT needs its own land with an administrative building in India to run educational and other welfare projects that are within its jurisdictions.

Apart from vocational and training courses KTT new ambitious plan is to have a ‘Rozgar’ or self employment centers at district levels to reach to the poorest of the poor section of the community and also he said essential to establish the Rozgar Centers in the slums of Hyderabad City. Khan praised the role of the Hyderabad KTT Board of Trustees and the Youth Wing head Babar Zaman, he also praised the dynamic role played by the Oversees Trustee and the General Secretary Syed Khaja Viqaruddin and the Director Computer Training Center Imran Shameem Kausar.

Giving a patient hearing to all the requests, the president of “India-Arab Friendship Foundation” Jaber Patel said he is overwhelmed with the KTT’s welfare schemes and assured his all-out support under his personal capacity. “With due respect from the president of KTT Ahmed Abdul Hakeem, he said I seek the permission to enroll myself as a fulltime voluntary member of this prestigious organization and would see that the government welfare schemes that are especially meant for minorities and weaker section reaches to KTT in fulfilling its objectivities”.

Jaber Patel said he will be much privileged to commemorate KTT’s silver jubilee anniversary celebrations will be organized in New Delhi and also hold its annual literary session of two days Mushaira in a large scale to create a massive awareness campaign among the masses.

Sharing the dais the Managing Trustee Khak-E-Taiba Trust Ghulam Yazdani briefed the members of the new avenues that are being lined-up to make KTT a marvelous and unique place in the legacy of Indian social organizations.
“Our aim is to serve the humanity, irrespective of caste, read or religion and we never compromise on our objectives under whatsoever circumstances,” he said.

Computer center Director Imran Kausar presented a very informative PowerPoint presentation, showcasing all the KTT activities in Jeddah and back-home in Hyderabad.

Earlier the program commenced with the recitation of a few verses from the Holy Qur’an by Mohammed Sayeeduddin and as a customary honor to the visiting guests, two beautiful mementos portraying the Holy Kaaba were presented by the Youth Wing of KTT Jeddah.

The program was well anchored by the trustee and general secretary Syed Khaja Viqaruddin. The vote of thanks was proposed by the chief patron Mohammed Shameem Kausar.
