New HTC 10 phone focuses on camera quality

NEW YORK — HTC is promising a boost to its camera along with refinements in audio and design as it unveils its latest flagship phone, the HTC 10. The camera has long been a weak point in HTC devices. In the latest model, HTC tries to strike a better balance between image resolution and low-light performance. Earlier flagship phones have drawn favorable reviews, but praise hasn't always translated to big sales. Announced Tuesday, the HTC 10 phone is expected to be available in late April. Prices weren't immediately announced. Other notable features in the HTC 10 include a powerful battery and the ability to customize the home screen so that app icons don't all have to stay in a grid. An already good metal design now gets sharper edges.
