JEDDAH — Reel & Rom, King Star, UT Lines, Lahore Badshah, Kashmir Stags recoded big wins in the 5th week matches of the Jotun League, which is sponsored by Jotun Paints and organized by Jeddah Cricket Association here.

Reel & Rom beat MCH Green by 7 wickets. MCH Green scored 151 in 18 overs. Babar (30), Rana (37), Zameer (27) and Asad (21) were the main contributors. Altaf claimed a hat trick (3 for 40), while Irfan (2 for 27) and Afridi (2 for 32) chipped in with useful scalps. In reply, Reel & Rom reached 152 for 3 in 15.2 overs. Wajid remained unbeaten on 48, while Imran scored a stylish 64.

King Star crushed Jamoom Fighters by 9 wickets. Jamoom Fighters scored 141 for 8 in 20 overs. King Star scored 141 for 1 in 12.1 overs thanks to Yasir’s 63 in 37 balls (10 fours, 1 six) and Abdul Rehman’s 34.

UT Lines downed Al-Khulais by 66 runs. UT Lines scored 214 for 9 in 20 overs with Humayun top scoring with 49 in 25 balls, while Ali and Noor chipped in with 39 and 36, respectively. Sajid picked up 2-37, Hafiz Ismail 2-52 and Khaleel 3-29. Al-Khulais was bundled out for 148. Nadeem blasted 51 in 27 balls and Hafez Ismail 31. Shabeer bagged 2-19 and Sajid 2-16.

Lahore Badshah trounced Ettihad by 7 wickets. Ettihad managed 182 for 4 in 17 overs. Rizwan top scored with 94 (5 fours, 10 six) and Fahad 51. Nasiq took 2-42. Lahore Badshah reached the target in 13 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. Nasiq (46), Saghir (42), Saad (47 not out) and Awais (21) were the leading scorers.

Kashmir Stags thrashed Pak Young by 7 wickets. Pak Young posted 172 for 5 with Yahiya (35), Asad Nabi (34), Nasrullah (20) and Karim (40) among the runs. Danish picked up 4 for 37. Kashmir Stags was home (176) in 14.4 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. Nahid scored 59 and Danish 55 not out.

In the 6th week matches, Kashmir XI thumped Ettihad by 7 wickets thanks to a fighting 117 in 41 balls by Awais Mohammed, KAIA demolished Pak Young by 8 wickets, ECU Lines narrowly beat King Stars by 2 wickets with Ateeq Shah taking 5-30, including a hat trick, Jamoom Tigers pipped Reel & Rom by 3 runs, Lahore Badshah edged Jamoom Fighters by 3 wickets with Shahzad hogging the limelight taking 5-27, while Kashmir beat Malik XI by 7 wickets.
