MAKKAH — K&N’s, a founding pillar and beacon of Pakistan’s poultry industry, recently opened an outlet in Makkah. With over 50 years of poultry excellence and a commitment to food-safety, K&N’s bring safe and healthy chicken to your table. K&N’s, which started in 1964 with a single-minded objective of providing better nutrition for health, has a mouth-watering array of dishes that are bound to captivate the taste buds of the millions who live and visit the holy city. Faiez Bin Mohammed Al-Mannaey, the man behind bringing the chicken products to Makkah, endorsing the international standard of the K&N’s products, said: “Pakistani foods are very famous among Saudis. K&N’s is brining a different variety of tastes, which will be loved by the Saudi public.” Ayesha Khan, a Pakistani housewife living in the Kingdom, was delighted to know that her children’s favorite ready-to-cook Fun Nuggets and Kebabs are now available here. “My children like K&N’s products very much. But frankly I need them more than they do because it comes in very handy whenever you have uninvited guests, which happens quite often at my place.” K&N’s guarantees quality and healthy products by managing and controlling all stages of poultry production under one umbrella, and conducting quality assurance lab tests at every stage. Chickens are halal slaughtered by hand (Zabeeha). K&N’s products are frozen using Individual Quick Freezing (IQF) Technology – the most advanced freezing technology available in the world today – whereby each product is Individually Quick Frozen, bringing down product core temperature from +45C to -18C, ultra rapidly in less than 30 minutes, while moving through the multi-tiered spiral freezing line. Thus, K&N’s products enjoy the benefit of a healthy and well-balanced diet. Its sausages are also unique since they are skinless (without the use of intestines). To prepare them, international standard, food grade, cellulose casings are used, which are then peeled off using automatic peeler, thereby bringing you ‘skinless’ sausages. Among its much-like ready to cook products are: Nuggets, Hot Tenders, Croquettes, Chapli Kabab, Burger Patties, Kofta, Shami Kabab and Samosa. — SG
