RIYADH - Housing Minister Majid Abdullah Al-Huqail stressed the importance of creating a mechanism for participation of Saudi engineers in supervising the construction of houses at reasonable costs and with high quality. He said lack of reliance on the engineering aspect has led to weakness and wastage in building some of the currently available products. He added that the ministry is striving to raise the level of quality and enable the participation of Saudi engineers in supervision of construction in cooperation with the Saudi Engineers Council.
