JEDDAH — Their passion for eating burgers, and the continued disappointments from burgers and meat restaurants in the Kingdom, have led six young Saudis to create their own burger recipe and sell burgers online. Section-B’s home-made burgers became a hit, and the group now sell burgers from a physical store.

At first, the groups sold burgers at a one-off event, and they got positive feedback, and so started to make samples of different burger recipes which they gave to friends and family to try and were slowly able to perfect their burgers.

Mansour Qadi, the managing partner, usually spends most of his time in their restaurant, checking on the work. He said he believes that in any businesses, some, or at least one partner, should be there so the customers can enjoy their food and leave the place satisfied.

Followers on Section-B’s social media accounts are increasing day after day.

Initially they sold their burgers every Friday, to-go, as most people were reaching them through social media. One they had a large enough following, they decided to transfer their small burger project from a to-go business into a full fledged burger shop in 2015.

Section-B not only sells beef burgers and mini burgers, but also sells fried chicken burgers.

The Burger bar, located in Hera Street, is open from Wednesday to Saturday until midnight.
