Delhi Daredevils produced an all-round effort to defeat Sunrisers Hyderabad by seven wickets to jump to the third spot in the Indian Premier League in Hyderabad Thursday.
Opting to bowl, Delhi first dished out a superb bowling performance to restrict Hyderabad to a modest 146 for eight and then chased down the target with ease in 18.1 overs, riding on a fine half-century stand between Sanju Samson (34 not out off 26) and Risabh Pant (39 not out off 26).
Brief scores: Delhi Daredevils 150 for 3 (De Kock 44, Pant 39*; Henriques 2-19) beat Sunrisers Hyderabad 146 for 8 (Warner 46, Mishra 2-19, Coulter-Nile 2-25) by seven wickets.
