DELHI - Adam Zampa and Ashok Dinda grabbed three wickets apiece before Ajinkya Rahane hit an unbeaten 42 as Rising Pune Supergiants beat Delhi Daredevils by 19 runs under Duckworth-Lewis method in a rain-interrupted IPL match in Visakhapatnam Tuesday.
Leg-spinner Zampa (3-21) and paceman Dinda (3-20) led a disciplined bowling display for Pune to restrict Delhi to a meager 121 for 6 and later opener Rahane led the batting charge with 42 not out as the "home" side won the match by 19 runs.
Rahane hit five fours and a six in his 36-ball knock to anchor the innings as Pune reached 76 for one in 11 overs before the umpires called off play after second rain interruption at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium. At the first rain interruption, Pune was 57 for 1 in 8.2 overs with Rahane on 26 and George Bailey on 6.
They returned after a rain break of around an hour and they were to get their full quota of 20 overs. But rain came back after two overs and four deliveries.
As rain continued persistently, the match was called off after a wait of around 15 minutes with Pune ahead of the par score of 57 by 19 runs.

Maxwell returns home injured from IPL
Australia all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has suffered a side strain in the Indian Premier League and will head home to recover before the West Indies tour, Cricket Australia said Tuesday.
Maxwell had "increasing soreness in his left abdomen area" after playing for Kings XI Punjab, CA said in a statement.
"From the information we have so far, the injury doesn't appear to be something that will prevent Glenn from participating in this tour, but we are keen to give him the necessary time to recover before departing to the West Indies at the end of this month," a CA physiotherapist said.
The hard-hitting 27-year-old becomes the fifth Australia player to leave the Indian Twenty20 tournament early following the departures of captain Steve Smith, John Hastings and Mitchell and Shaun Marsh.
Australia plays West Indies and South Africa in a triangular One-Day International tournament starting on June 5.
