9 hurt in clashes at Hail hospital

HAIL — Nine people were arrested following clashes that erupted in the compound of King Khalid Hospital in Hail on Tuesday morning. Nine people were injured and the condition of one of them is critical, Al-Riyadh newspaper reported. A group of people broke into the compound of the hospital and engaged in clashes with some others, according to eyewitnesses. They said that the clashes broke out following a personal dispute between some people. They exchanged fire and also used knives in the attack. Security forces, who rushed to the scene, arrested all nine people engaged in the clashes. Eight people sustained minor to moderate injuries, but another person was seriously injured. The security forces seized several weapons from them. The emergency reception section of the hospital has been shut down for security reasons.
