MAKKAH — The Ministry of Labor and Social Development branch in Makkah province is set to Saudize 80 percent of jobs in the province’s hotels and tourist resorts by the end of 2016.

The plan is scheduled to be carried out in cooperation with the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH) and Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf), according to Abdullah Bin Muhammad Al-Olayyan, director of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development branch in Makkah province.

During his recent inspection of the headquarters of the First Saudization Forum for Accommodation Sector Occupations being held in Makkah, Al-Olayyan said Saudi employees must be disciplined, punctual and diligent.

He called on the Saudi youth to register in ‘Taqat’ website, Hadaf program and SCTH website so that they can be contacted and provided a suitable job, Al-Madina Arabic daily reported on Saturday.
