ALBAIK sponsors sports drive for children and young adults

Professional soccer and basketball coaches conduct training camps for children over the course of one week for each camp, where a group of Saudi children and young adults will become qualified in both sports ALBAIK Food Systems is sponsoring the Fourth Saudi Youth Sports Initiative aimed at enriching the lives of youth and contributing to the development of soccer and basketball in Jeddah. The initiative is organized by Team Up for sports & events management and Global Sports Partners, 2016 at Faisal Zahid Sports Park, south of Jeddah. Through the initiative, professional soccer and basketball coaches are conducting training camps for children over the course of one week for each camp, where a group of Saudi children and young adults will become qualified in both sports. Around 150 children aged 8 to 15 are expected to benefit from the soccer and basketball camps. They will be chosen by the Director of Faisal Zahid Sports Park who knows the kids well and training sessions will be held from 5 to 7 pm on a daily basis. In addition to the children and young adult camps, the initiative will include additional camps to train up and coming soccer and basketball coaches during the same time period, which will be led by professional specialists from the United States of America.
