Al Faisaliah Hotel hosted a charity Iftar for children with cancer at the traditional Fawanees. The 5-star property collaborated with the Sanand Charitable Association to bring together 40 children with cancer, along with their parents, for an enjoyable evening packed with children’s entertainment alongside a tasteful buffet. Sanand Charitable Association is the kingdom’s non-profit charity that supports child cancer patients and their families with the necessary psychological, social and financial support. All Al Faisaliah staff members were present during the special event to offer their respect and support for the cause. The event captured the essence of Ramadan, through giving back to the community and dedicating time to helping those in need. Alexander Blair, General Manager of Al Faisaliah Hotel, said: “Corporate social responsibility is an integral part of our hotel’s culture, and we firmly believe in charity and giving back to the community, especially children. They are the most valuable asset to our society, and such resilient and strong individuals. It was heart-warming bringing smiles to their faces, and we hope they enjoyed their evening as much as we did having them among us.” Al Faisaliah Hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Riyadh. During Ramadan, the seasonal Fawanees bestows traditional Arabian hospitality that is synonymous with the spirit of Ramadan and grants an exclusive Iftar experience in an opulent and hearty ambiance, ideal for making memories with families and friends. Strikingly elegant with stylish furnishings and vibrant Arabian lanterns decorating the room, the prestigious Fawanees Iftar is set at the Prince Sultan Grand Hall, the most spectacular royal banquet hall in the kingdom. — SG
