ETIHAD Etisalat (Mobily) allowed its subscribers the possibility of free documenting their fingerprints through “Uber” application in any of the main cities of the Kingdom for limited period. This reflects Mobily’s keenness to apply innovative solutions for compliance to CITC’s resolution which states the need to update the fingerprint of all prepaid and postpaid packages subscribers in all telecom companies.
It becomes possible for the subscriber who desires to document his fingerprint to access “Uber” App. and enter promo code 1100 which will show Mobily’s option that should be selected by the subscriber. This will allow Mobily employee, in charge of this website, to complete the authentication process free of charge.
Hashem Hamidaddin, general manager, National Proposition at Mobily, said Mobily is keen to ensure the documentation of the fingerprints of subscriber’s lines, and this comes in compliance to CITC’s resolution in a smooth and comfortable way, saving their time and provide them superior customer experience. “Accordingly, we have launched this service that enables subscribers to request a competent staff to document their fingerprint and to update their data within few minutes.”
Mobily also announced that in collaboration with Uber, all new users of Uber App can benefit from free trips in any parts of the Kingdom amounting SR80 whenever using the application through the promo code UberMOBILY16. Mobily has taken the initiative to provide documentation service of the fingerprint in the premises of many ministries, governmental and private agencies and for “our brave soldiers stationed in the southern boarders within the framework of the company's keenness to provide this free service to the greatest number possible.”
