On this occasion, Prince Khaled congratulated Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, who continuously followed up on situations of visitors to the Grand Mosque. The King also issued directives to provide all services to ensure the visitors and pilgrims’ safety and comfort.

Prince Khaled also extended his thanks and appreciation to Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Naif, Deputy Premier, Interior Minister, and Chairman of Supreme Haj Committee, for his support, follow-up and approval of security plans that have had a major role in achieving this success.

The prince confirmed in a press statement that the Governorate of Makkah region has worked in cooperation with all government agencies to provide everything that would make it easier for worshipers and Umrah pilgrims to pray and move about easily. This, in spite of the large increase in their numbers, which exceeded 60% compared with last year’s season.
