ResizeTABUK – Prince Fahd Bin Sultan, emir of Tabuk, on Tuesday received Musallam Hammad Al-Nijeidi Al-Bluwi, father of Nayer Musallam Al-Bluwi, who blew himself up near the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah early this month.
Musallam was accompanied by brothers and uncles of Nayer and a group of citizens from their neighborhood.
The kin of Nayer declared their innocence of the heinous crime committed by the 26-year-old terrorist. They also slammed the terrorist act that is unacceptable to any religion or people.
“The perpetrator of this disgraceful crime does not represent none other than him,” they said while renewing their loyalty to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Naif, and Deputy Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman. They also expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of security men in the suicide attack of Nayer, and offered sincere condolences to their bereaved families.
While addressing Musallam and others, Prince Fahd reassured them that King Salman, Crown Prince and Deputy Crown Prince repose trust and respect in them, and that the leaders have no suspicions about their loyalty.
“The perpetrator of the attack had hurt himself before he hurt anyone else.”
He called on them to be wary of their children by closely monitoring them and following up on their behavior and be vigilant about any changes in their conduct.
The emir urged them to extend full cooperation to the concerned authorities with regard to the probe into the attack. Prince Fahd also prayed Almighty Allah to shower His mercy on the martyred security men and give quick recovery to those wounded in the attack.
The terrorist attack carried out by Nayer, who had a history of drug abuse, killed four security men in the vicinity of the Prophet’s Mosque.
On July 4 (Ramadan 29) the security men suspected a man who was walking towards the Prophet’s Mosque across an open area that is used as a car park for visitors. When they intercepted him, he blew himself up with an explosive vest he was wearing.
