Hundreds of families and visitors from several parts of the Kingdom and outside are flocking to Jeddah Corniche to spend their summer holidays. The vast recreational facilities in the renovated Corniche attract a large number of vacationers to the ‘Bride of the Red Sea” where seafronts are full to their capacity in the evening. The ‘Jeddah Ghair 37’ summer festival drew thousands of visitors. The mayoralty has made elaborate arrangements and preparations along the beaches, including North and South Corniche as well as the 10-km long Obhur Bay. There are more than 100 hotels in the city and they have registered 90 percent occupancy these days.
