ResizeJEDDAH – Home Centre, the largest home retailer in the Middle East, has opened doors to two new stores across the Kingdom this year – one in the Arar region of the Northern Province on June19, and the second in the Obhur region of Jeddah on July 1.
Spread across two levels, the Obhur store covers an area of 32,000 square feet, while the Arar store covers an area of 48,000 square feet. With these two new stores, Home Centre has 33 stores in the Kingdom.
The Arar store is one of the largest format stores in the Northern Region.
Both stores showcase the brand’s newest range of classic, contemporary and modern furniture and home accessories, and were opened in line with Home Centre’s continued commitment to locate itself within proximity of its customers and provide them with exceptional value.
The store opening events began with ribbon and cake cutting ceremonies by Home Centre’s top management, after which, dates and snacks were distributed to the attendees.
The new stores also rolled out an array of exclusive inaugural offers on select furniture and home accessories. Customers at the Obhur store enjoyed a Facebook voucher promotion as well as a cross promotion with Centrepoint, and gained a chance to participate in a ‘Spin the Wheel’ activity wherein a minimal spend offered them the chance to win a guaranteed gift. At the Arar store opening, visitors gained an exclusive SMS Voucher of ‘SR100 off’ upon spending SR500 on opening day.
