By Abdulaziz Al-Mushayti AL-JOUF — A school here has safely recovered a student who was reported missing for four hours. Hasidah Primary School Principal Qassim Al-Mushaiti said the student left school at 12:20 p.m. and headed toward the house of one of his friends. “The student heard that the father of one of his friends had bought a swimming pool. He went to join his friends to swim in the pool. The father of the student came to pick his son from school but did not find him,” said Al-Mushaiti. He added the father then asked the school administration about the whereabouts of his son. “The student guidance counselor, the 1st grade teacher and I went out looking for the student. I gathered a search party to look for the student. We walked around the block of the school for four hours looking for the student,” said Al-Mushaiti. He said they searched for the student in the school, neighboring streets and in stores. “We contacted all of his friends from the current year and previous years. We even called hospitals and health institutions. One of the friends contacted told us that he went with another friend to play in the swimming pool,” said Al-Mushaiti.
