IN line with Saudi Arabia’s ‘Vision 2030’, Bab Rizq Jameel and Abdul Latif Jameel United Finance (ALJUF) have signed an agreement that will lead to the employment of 300 young people in the last quarter of 2016.

The agreement aims to attract men and women to work in auto sales, in keeping with Bab Rizq Jameel’s strategy for creating job opportunities across all demographics groups and all regions of Saudi Arabia.

Abdul Latif Jameel United Finance is keen to create a wider variety of jobs for young men and women in the sub-cities, building greater equality of opportunity and helping to reduce the migration of younger people to the larger cities.

The agreement reinforces previous collaborative efforts by the two entities, who work closely to sustain a culture of social responsibility within their business practices.

It was signed in September in the presence of Dr Khalid Karimi, CEO of Abdul Latif Jameel United Finance and Abdul Rahman Al Fehaid, executive director of Bab Rizq Jameel in Saudi Arabia.

Dr Karimi expressed his optimism regarding the collaboration, saying: “Given the proliferation of Bab Rizq Jameel branches across all regions of the Kingdom, its credibility with jobseekers, and its expertise in the area of job creation and recruitment, we were keen to implement and support further cooperation between our two companies.”

Al-Fehaid stressed that Bab Rizq Jameel serves all Abdul Latif Jameel companies in providing opportunities for young and ambitious Saudis. “This direct cooperation is a result of Bab Rizq Jameel’s continuous efforts in the provision of private sector employment, training and apprenticeship,” he said.
