Water bill for over SR3,700

ABHA — A citizen here has filed a complaint against the water department after he received a SR3,767 bill for four months of water use. The man said he had been paying his bills regularly and the bill he received was equal to 17 years of non-payment. He said that he thought that the amount was a mistake, but that when he went in to complain he discovered that the water company said there was nothing wrong with the bill. He urged the water department to correct the amount and said he has proof that he had been paying on time. — SG
