King meets Syrian opposition leader Riad Hijab

RIYADH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman received Riad Hijab, general coordinator of Supreme Commission for Negotiations of the Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces. During the audience, the King reiterated Saudi Arabia’s position to stand by the Syrian people in order to realize their aspirations, alleviate their suffering and get out of the current crisis. He also reemphasized the Kingdom’s support for the political resolution of the Syrian conflict in accordance with Geneva 1 declaration. They also discussed the latest developments in Syria. — SPA
