JEDDAH — Pazadaure of coach Ray Mangohig defeated Tetra Pak 109-57 for third place in the Inter-Company Group A of the Seiko Watch–JBL Basketball Tournament at the Khalidia court here.

The winner played its patented run-and-gun offense throughout. Tubid top scored with 28 points for the winner and was adjudged as the Seiko Watch Best Player of the Game. Collado made 25 points for the loser.

This tournament is principally sponsored by Seiko Watch of Al-Hussaini & Al-Yahya Investment Group (Othman Al-Hussaini). The co-sponsors are Nesma Airlines (Faisal Al-Turki), Rabea Tea, Giordano Fashions (Ahmadullah), New Cabalen Restaurant (Japh Villanueva) and Ric Santos Printing.

New Cabalen Restaurant–R Printing coach Jhun Pantaleon beat Wasalak 104-90 in the semifinals. Condez poured in 44 points for the winner and was named the JBL Best Player. Navarro led the loser with 36 points.

Khalidia Balik Islam of playing coach Khalid Imet Villanueva scored over Breman Islamic Cneter 101-91 for the third place in the Inter-Dawah Division. Amer scored 26 points for the winner and was selected as the Giordano Best Player, while Mahmoud Quidlat contributed 24 points for the loser.

Fakieh Group of playing coach Ruel Bristol defeated Knights 100-96 in overtime to advance in the semifinal round of Inter-Company Group B. Caneta scored 27 points for the winner and was adjudged the New Cabalen Restaurant Best Player. Gonzales chipped in with 22 points for the loser.

Wasalak 40’s of coach Fred Conception beat Khalidia 40’s 95-92 in the semifinals of the 40 & above Category.

Creencia top scored with 21 points for the winner and was named the Seiko Watch best player. Amang made 22 points for the loser.

JDC Veterans of coach Andulaziz Ricky Yu defeated BHBC 103-91 in another semifinal match of the 40 & above Category and will face Wasalak 40’s in the Best-of-Three Championship series. Bryan Callueng scored 31 points for the winner and was adjudged the JBL Best player, while Gandian led the loser with 43 big points.
