ABU DHABI — This year, Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) and Nawah Energy Company (Nawah), the operating company co-owned with Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), celebrated the 45th UAE National Day in style.
Two events were held at ENEC’s headquarters at Masdar City in Abu Dhabi and at the Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant site for the employees of both entities. The celebrations were attended by Mohamed Al Hammadi, ENEC’s CEO, and Mohammed Sahoo Al Suwaidi, acting CEO of Nawah.
The event gave all employees the opportunity to participate and celebrate in the richness of Emirati culture. Activities included several heritage shows, henna painting, competitions and workshops.
ENEC is working to deliver safe, clean, efficient and reliable nuclear energy to the United Arab Emirates - energy that is needed to support the UAE’s social and economic growth. ENEC represents all aspects of the UAE peaceful nuclear energy program.
