Malayali Council bids farewell to one of its leading members

DAMMAM — The World Malayalee Council (WMC), Eastern Province, hosted a send-off party for John Lonappan, the group›s vice president, here recently. The meeting started with prayer led by WMC Vice President Abdul Gafur and General Secretary Biju Mathew welcomed the guests, who included the group›s executive members and their families. WMC chairman Paul Poulose and president Shajan Paul jointly presented a memento to Lonappan and Omana Lonappan . WMC Vice Chairman Anto, Vice Chairperson Bindu Shajan, Vice President Abdul Gafur, General Secretary Biju Mathew, Treasurer Anilkumar, Joint Secretary, Joy Lazer, Women›s Forum President Benitha Joy, Executive Committee members Thomas Varghese, Dickson Fernandes and Jayachandra Menon and Tessy Joseph praised Lonappan for his unflinching efforts for WMC›s growth in the Eastern Province. In his felicitation address, WMC Middle East Chairman Joseph Mathew reminded all WMC executive members to work closely with WMC Global Business Forum to realize «Saudi Vision 2030» initiative . Dilara Abdul Gafur entertained the audience with her melodious songs. Treasurer Anilkumar proposed the vote of thanks.
