JEDDAH — Eight matches took place in the SCC Morning T20 Cup, which is sponsored by Saudi Cricket Centre (SCC) and managed by WPCA. Jeddah Tigers, Al-Saudi XI, AGA, Apex Express, ATC, ALJ Toshiba and Nesma Holding emerged victorious in their respective matches.

Jeddah Tigers downed Jeddah Gladiators by 3 runs. Jeddah Tigers produced 139-6. Syed Iftikhar hit 40, Wahed 25 and Nanajee unbeaten 25. Yaser took 2-20. Jeddah Gladiators could manage 136 for 8. Waseem stroked 21, Rasheed 29 and Ali Akbar 32. Ayyub grabbed 5-23.

Al-Saudi Green trounced Al-Kabbani Cricket Group by 30 runs. Al-Saudi racked up 210-5. Mazhar scored 23, Nadeem 37, Faisal 43 and Kamran a scintillating 96 in 43 balls with 6 sixes and 9 fours. Imran Qaiser grabbed 2-39. Al-Kabbani, in reply, was restricted to 180-9. Imran Qaiser hammered 65 in 32 balls with 2 sixes and 11 fours, Sohail 21 and Irfanullah 19. Munzir Kidwai took 2-28, Adil 2-25 and Amjad 2-52.

AGA defeated MFCC by 3 wickets. MFCC posted 163-6. Imran Rana hit 50 in 34 balls, Babar 26 and Zia remained unbeaten on 28. Jann (Sher Shah) took 2-28. AGA, in chase, got to 164-7 in 106 balls. Sher Shah stroked 27, Malik Lal 36, Fahad 26 and Hafeez remained unbeaten on 32. Mehmood took 3-44.

Apex Express prevailed over Super Cricket Club by 8 wickets. Super Cricket Club managed 155-6. Sithik top scored with 50 with 4 fours, Farooq hit 31, Waseem 18, Hammad and Fiaz identical 19. Masood scalped 2-32. Apex Express achieved the victory (158-2) in 91 balls. Abu Bakar hammered an unbeaten 49 in 37 balls as he first added 56 with Rizwan (37) and then 90 for the second wicket with Azeez Akbar (43).

ATC beat Deccan Youth by 9 wickets. Deccan Youth was restricted to 114-9. Ibrahim made 11, Awais 11, Rizwan 22 and Qadeer 12 to be among the double-figure achievers. Sajjad Baba took 3-13 and Shahzad Khan 2-16. In reply, ATC took just 61 balls to get to 115 for 1. Usman Amjad smashed an unbeaten 68 in 31 balls with 14 hits to the ropes and Babar 38.

ALJ Toshiba won against Sadafco by 6 wickets. Sadafco produced an impressive 176-6. Ahmed top scored with 64 in 28 balls. He first added 65 with Ali (32) and then 51 with Mudassir Iqbal who remained unbeaten on 51 off 34 balls. Bilal took 2-38. ALJ Toshiba, in response, took 103 balls to make 177-4. Magnificent Bilal blasted an unbeaten 86 in 42 balls with 4 sixes and 8 fours, Aamir Gujjar remained unbeaten on 22, Tanveer Zamane hit 22 and Basheer 18.

Nesma Holding won over Kashmir Strikers by 17 runs. Nesma Holding recorded 178-6. Furquan Ahmed scored 72 in 42 balls with 10 fours and a six. He added 129 for the first wicket in 75 balls with Tasleem who made 49 in 34 balls. Saleem scored 20. Anas took 2-29 and Awais 2-37. Kashmir Strikers could manage only 161-6. Samiullah Najjar hit 46, Awais 27, Ahsan 24, Ishfaq Ahmed 22 and Arif 17. Zafar scalped 2-26.

Zamil Cool Care got a walkover from Brasa De Brazil.

In the last match of the day, Arcoma defeated Stallions by 9 runs. Arcoma, batting first, piled up 162-7, mainly through Kaleem (57 in 37 balls). Pervez made 29 and the two added 49 runs. Mustafa remained unbeaten on 28. Faizan took 2-23 and Waqas 2-43. Stallions, in reply, was restricted to 153-9. Emaduddin stroked 58 in 49 balls and Abdulrehman 30. Qureshi was the pick of the bowlers with 4-24 and Ayaz 2-25.
