[/caption] THE program for regular guests of Saudi Arabian Airlines (Al-Fursan) announced the introduction of two new services. First is the launching of the ‘virtual card’ and second is a package of services in the latest updating program for Saudia application for smart phones. This comes within its keenness to provide the best services with high standards and quality to keep up with the latest developments in the air transport industry. Director General of Al-Fursan Program in Saudi Arabian Airlines Air Transport Company Hussein Qumairi said the initiatives are an extension of all the e-services provided to Saudia passengers, especially to Al-Fursan Program members. They are provided competitive privileges and special offers in cooperation with several commercial partners in the program, apart from 19 airlines within the global Sky Time alliance. Al-Qumairi added that the ‘virtual card’ is a new service that will be available in smart phones for Al-Fursan members. Through this card the member will be able to obtain membership without the need for a plastic card which was in use before. The card will facilitate the operations to be carried out by members. The service will be available in the shortest time and with high efficiency. Apart from this, the QR code will be available to the member when he enters Al-Fursan halls (terminals?) or when he uses the ‘virtual card’. Qumairi added that the virtual card will be sent to the member’s email so that he saves it in his smartphone. The second initiative that was launched is related to a package of Fursan services in the latest Saudia app in smartphones in Appstore and Google Play. — SG
