UBT certifies 28 candidates in human resources course

JEDDAH — Within the scope of preparing and providing international qualified professionals for the Saudi labor market, the Continuing Education Center (CEC) of the University of Business and Technology (UBT) has certified 28 candidates as Certified Human Resources Analysts (CHRA).

The program, held in Jeddah from Jan. 1-4, was conducted in collaboration with the US Global Academy of Finance and Management, and delivered by German expert trainer Rolf Hartung.

The program included aspects related to human resources as a business partner, theory and practices of competencies, recruitment requirements and identifying top-candidates, training effectiveness, performance management, as well as benefits and compensation policy.

At the end of the 4-day training, the candidates were required to take and succeed in the certification exam.

The candidates included specialists and professionals from different national and international companies in human resources, recruitment officers, UBT senior students, co-op students, alumni as well as graduates from other Saudi universities.

Amir Dhia, director of the UBT Continuing Education Center stated that in the last month the UBT training and career development center has certified more than 100 professionals and candidates in various programs, including Certified International Project Manager (CIPM), Certified E-Commerce Consultants (ICECC), as well as Certified Human Resources Analysts (CHRA).

The next international certified program is the Certified Digital Marketing Specialist (CDMS), the director added.
