ResizeSINCE the end of 2015, Saudi Arabia can import French beef. In this context, the professionals of the French bovine sector are organizing, in collaboration with Business France, the national agency supporting the international development of the French economy – two major events in Riyadh, to meet local partners in this sector. They will be held today (Jan. 17). Those events will be an unprecedented opportunity to meet French exporting officials and companies, but also to learn about the know-how of operators and the sanitary quality of French beef. On this matter, France, which is the leading producer and exporter of beef in Europe, has developed a sanitary system guaranteeing a high-quality supply.
The French delegation will invite Saudi businessmen to a private function at the Residence of the French Ambassador.
On this occasion, Chef Didier MASSOT, artisan butcher who won the “Meilleur Ouvrier de France” award in 2003, will make a meat cutting show. This presentation will be followed by a dinner in honor of the French halal beef.
In the morning, similar meetings will be organized with the operators of the companies importing beef at the Marriot Hotel. Following a presentation of the French beef industry, guests will also have the opportunity to attend the cutting demonstration and taste French beef of the highest quality.
