DUBAI — Malabar Gold & Diamonds, the leading jewelry retailer across the globe, has opened 7 new showrooms on Jan. 18. The inaugurations were held in UAE, Kuwait & Bahrain in the presence of various dignitaries, special invited guests & well-wishers.

Malabar Gold & Diamonds, one of the world’s largest gold & diamond jewelry retailer, announced a major investment amounting AED335 million ($91.28 million) in expansion plans of its retail network. The plan will see an addition of 24 stores in 3 months, from January 2017 to March 2017 period, taking the number of total outlets to 185 by the end of March 2017.
The newly opened outlets unveil a significantly large collection of traditional as well as contemporary designer jewelry. The new showrooms showcase the exquisite collection of gold jewelry in 18K, 22K and 24K alongside diamond, uncut diamond and precious gem jewelry handpicked for the jewelry lovers. The outlets opened are:
•162nd showroom: MGD – Lifestyle Jewelry outlet at Al Barsha Mall, Dubai, UAE was inaugurated by MP Ahammed.
• 163rd showroom: Malabar Gold & Diamonds showroom in Satwa, Dubai, UAE was jointly inaugurated by MP Ahammed, along with Dr. PA Ibrahim Haji, Co-Chairman of Malabar Group in the presence of management team members and guests.
• 164th showroom: Malabar Gold & Diamonds showroom in Gold Center, Dubai, UAE was jointly inaugurated by PB Das – Senior Executive Officer – NBF Capital Limited, National Bank of Fujairah PJSC and Vikram Pradhan – Head – Corporate & Institutional Banking - National Bank of Fujairah PJSC in the presence of management team members of Malabar Gold & Diamonds and guests.
• 165th showroom: Malabar Gold & Diamonds showroom in Gold Center, Dubai, UAE was jointly inaugurated by MP Ahammed, Chairman of Malabar Group along with Dr. PA Ibrahim Haji, management team members and guests.

• 167th showroom: MGD – Lifestyle Jewelry outlet was inaugurated by Ms. Zainab Hussain in the presence of management team members and guests at Sama Mall, Kuwait
