JEDDAH — Al-Ryan International Polyclinic Jeddah is conducting free medical Camp for students, faculty and staff members of International Indian School Jeddah (IISJ). In an endeavor, which is the first of its kind in the history of IISJ, Al-Ryan has provided free eye, dental and weight check for 8,000 students, both in the girls and boys section on the school.
The camp, which is an excellent initiative by the clinic to provide service to expatriate community, was inaugurated last month by IISJ managing committee chairman Mohammed Iqbal in the presence of academic member of committee Asif Daudi, IISJ Principal Syed Masood Ahmed, Vice-Principal of Boys Section Dr. Najeeb Qais, and Suhaib T.P , CEO Al-Ryan International Polyclinic.
The checkups are conducted by a team of highly experienced and professional doctors from the clinic. According to dental experts conducting checkups, gingivitis and poor teeth alignment are the most common problems identified among students and therefore strongly advised students to visit the dentist every 6 months.
“Those students who are diagnosed with any dental or eye problems are offered treatment free of cost for the first time and subsequently be given 50% discount card for students and also separate 50% discount to parents for a whole year,” said Mir Mahmood Ali, regional business development manager at Al-Ryan.
“The camp is benefitting a lot of students, it’s very well organized and is the first of its kind in our institution where a lot of students suffer from eyesight and dental problems and parents don’t give a lot of importance to timely checkup and treatment. This camp has really helped us in identifying the problems and such camp must be conducted annually,” said headmistress of 6-8 block, boys section.
Al-Ryan International Polyclinic’s principal aim is not just treating illness but also building on trust and relationship with patients. The clinic, with its dedicated and professional team of staff actively engages in endeavors to provide exceptional services to the community.
