By Mohammed Al-Anzi DAMMAM — Terrorists prefer to rent rest houses to use as hiding places for a variety of reasons including the location of these facilities n remote areas which are far away from the heavily-populated residential areas, according to security sources. They said the terrorists also believe that these rest houses are away from the prying eyes and the tight security grip. The sources said the terrorists usually prefer the accommodation places with no immediate neighbors. They said it is extremely easy to rent a rest house and enter and exit from it throughout the day without raising suspicions. According to the sources, it is a lot cheaper to rent a rest house than a villa or an apartment in any residential area. They said the rest houses are designed in such a way that the tenant can drive in his car and park there with no hassles at all. The sources said the rest houses have simple furniture which the terrorists can use especially that they have no beds. They said it is a common belief among society members that the rest houses are places for entertainment and for spending quality time away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The sources said it would not come to the mind of anyone that these rest houses could be turned into places for death and destruction. They said this was the the fact that was found out by the security forces who busted a rest house in Al-Harazat District in Jeddah which was used as a hideout by two terrorists. They said the security forces also arrived at this fact when they attacked some hideouts in Riyadh and Qasim.
