ResizeJEDDAH – The Integrated Development Center under the Makkah Governorate has been successful in restoring as many as 24 stalled projects in various cities and regions in the Makkah province. “The handicaps that stood in the way of implementing these projects have been removed last year and restoration of some of the projects have been made possible even after their cancellation,” said Saad Mareq, advisor to Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, emir of Makkah and advisor to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

Saad Mareq[/caption]The center made this remarkable achievement in line with the realization of the vision of Prince Khaled, he said. “The center spared no efforts to realize the vision of Prince Khaled with accelerating the wheel of development in the province by putting it on the right track. It also plays a remarkable role in encouraging businessmen and investors to implement new development projects by simplifying the bureaucratic procedures,” he said. The restored projects include some of the major development projects in various service sectors, he added.
Prince Khaled announced in May 2015 the establishment of the Integrated Development Center in order to boost the development of Makkah and all governorates under the region with the active participation of public and private sectors. The center is working to accelerate the development of the region with the participation of various government sectors and chambers of commerce and industry.
