International Women’s Day: Tribute by a woman to all women

It is the principle of the universe that nature embraces those who really want to move forward, who long for the sky and yearn for novelty and betterment. March 8 is a day of celebration for the most beautiful, yet thought of as the most fragile, creatures on earth, that is: “women”. People come and go, only those remain immortal who do something for others. Here women are at the top of the list because they bring up their families and turn the wheels of the nation’s economy. Women are the real architects of society. — Harriet Beecher Stowe Time is a great crucible. It has made women learn how to be strong. So-called conventions cannot paralyze their ability. On International Women’s Day (IWD) 2017, the UNESCO theme is “Be Bold for Change”. This very theme implies that women can be readied for change and can accept change – no matter what and when. All the universe follows a natural order, the role of opposites, sky and earth, air and fire, flower and thorn, man and woman. Women are the very foundation of the family, of society and by extension of the entire nation. The family is a basic societal stone. It is a woman who turns a house into a home – a worthy living place, full of peace and affection. A woman has the power and natural talent to combat like a man, but she is at home in emotional approaches. She knows very well how to use all of these arts. Most of the time, she is more expressive than a man. And, this is the reason why she becomes a man’s weakness. At times a woman can be impatient but soon adjusts herself to the situation. She dwells in pain and misery for her family and never demands reciprocation. A woman has many shades to her life and personality and she is colorful in each one. As a mother, sister, daughter and wife, she fits in more perfectly that one can imagine. She has a natural tendency to unify things and human beings as well. In short, she accepts challenges just to conquer. Women are the largest untapped reservoir of talent in the world. — Hillary Clinton A woman is the best counsellor because she looks at things critically. She is not merely a domestic queen, but she plunges into the outside world as well. Everybody knows the difference between black and white, but she distinguishes gray matters as well. She harmonizes between the extremes, between imagination and reality, art and science, and home and office. By birth, she is a raw stone and it is dependent upon her family and society as to what she is finally carved into. A woman in every role is a solace of a still and tranquil heart, a scented meadow or grave forest. And, finally, if challenged, a woman can move mountains. Being proud to be a part of nature as a woman, I wish a very happy International Women’s Day to all my women friends here and beyond!
