ABDUL Latif Jameel/Aftersales wrapped up its “1K Free Maintenance” campaign with the awarding of the grand prize of a 2017 Toyota Camry at a gala ceremony at the Toyota Center on Prince Sultan Road in Jeddah. In addition to prize winner Ahmed Hassan Mabrouk and his entourage of friends and family, the ceremony was attended by Emad Banaamah, Manager of the Commercial Permits Department at the Jeddah Chamber; and Eng. Munir Khoja, Director of Aftersales Marketing at Abdul Latif Jameel Motors. Also in attendance were staff members from the aftersales department and the branch management. Addressing the gathered throngs, Eng. Khoja said: “The 1K free maintenance campaign was launched last November as a means of educating our guests on the importance of preventative maintenance, which plays an important role not only in road safety and security, but also in the optimum performance of vehicles over the duration of their lifetimes. We always encourage Toyota owners to keep it maintained by its maker.” “The other goal of the campaign was to strengthen ties with new Toyota owners starting from the first moment of ownership and continuing throughout the subsequent maintenance journey. We want to make sure that new owners take advantage of the Kingdom-wide network of Abdul Latif Jameel Motors/Aftersales centers that now number more than 100. These centers offer the highest standards of service and hospitality and they have been designed to meet the needs of all Toyota owners.” Abdul Latif Jameel/Aftersales presented a Shield of Appreciation to the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a token of thanks for its cooperation and support throughout the campaign. The Shield was accepted by Banaamah. Abdul Latif Jameel/Aftersales has developed a user-friendly digital gateway on social media for booking appointments, following up on maintenance schedules, checking service status, interacting with the maintenance team and viewing online aftersales services’ educational and entertainment content. The portal is also the number one way for guests to learn of the periodic launch of various competitions and campaigns that promote the importance of regular automotive maintenance and the risks associated with counterfeit spare parts. — SG
