MADINAH – Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Naif, deputy premier and minister of interior, on Wednesday graced the concluding ceremony of ‘Watan 87’ joint tactical training exercise held at Muhammad Bin Naif Center for Special Operations and Advanced Applications in Madinah.

After arriving at the venue, the Crown Prince unveiled the plaque to open the center and then was briefed on the features and facilities of the exercise ground at the center. He inspected the massive parade of the security forces taking part in the exercise.

The Crown Prince also watched the impressive drills performed by them. The drills included foiling armed attack on a residential complex, terrorist attack on petroleum installations, and armed attacks on Diplomatic Quarter and tackling riot in jail, and raid on a farm after terrorists made it their hideout on the border region.

The ceremony was also attended by Prince Mansour Bin Muhammad Bin Saad, Prince Faisal Bin Salman, emir of Madinah, Prince Abdulaziz Bin Saud Bin Naif, advisor to minister of interior, Prince Nawaf Bin Naif, Sheikh Abdurahman Al-Sudais, head of the Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, Gen. Saeed Al-Qahtani, general supervisor of the exercise, and several senior civil and military officials. The Special Security Forces and forces from all other security sectors under the Ministry of Interior took part  in the joint exercise.
