SINCE the original Shack opened in 2004 in NYC’s Madison Square Park, the company has opened multiple locations in 12 states and the District of Columbia, as well as international locations including in London, Istanbul, Dubai, Moscow, Tokyo and more. Shack fans in Saudi now rejoice as part of the brand’s KSA expansion plans, ShakeShack recently opened three new stores in Riyadh for avid burger enthusiasts. The recently opened restaurants located at Al Bustan Centre, Aliah Plaza and Rubeen Plaza follow the brand’s recent launches at Al Faisaliah Mall and Localizer Mall, bringing the total number of Shacks to five, in the region. The ShackBurger, ShakeShack’s much-lauded burger, is made with cheese, fresh lettuce, tomato and ShackSauce, and finished with a buttered, toasted, soft potato roll. ShakeShack’s unique take on a bacon burger, the SmokeShack features hickory smoked veal bacon, chopped cherry peppers and ShackSauce. The Shack-cago Dog is a hot dog inspired by a food typically only found in Chicago. This delicious hot dog is made with locally produced beef, and eight toppings including Shack relish, onion, cucumber, pickle, tomato, sport pepper, celery salt and mustard. In addition to Shake Shack’s frozen custard –dense, rich and creamy ice cream spun fresh daily–will be featured in shakes and concretes (frozen custard blended at high speed with mix-ins). The much-loved burgers are now closer to their fans and ShakeShack’s rapid expansions in Saudi Arabia, stands as testament of this brand’s wholesome potential to rock the market as the American Burger demand is on the rise. — SG
