JEDDAH — Usman Amjad cracked a ton but could not save ATC against ALJ Toshiba in the WPCA Morning T20 Tournament. Elsewhere, Indomie United Universal Cups, Al-Kabbani Cricket Group, Cousins XI, AGA, Sadafco, Royal Brothers and Al-Saudi Green emerged winners.
Indomie Cups won by 37 runs against Wolves XI. Indomie United Universal Cups piled up 193-8. Tariq Siddiqui hit 36 as he added 65 with Imran who stroked 54 in 46 balls. Omair contributed 18, Rehan 25 and Ziyad 22. There were 28 extras. Junaid took 2-29, Arshad 2-30 and Zahid 2-40. Wolves XI was bowled out for 156. Nawaz hit 49 and Raees 16. Aleem scored 30. Ahmed grabbed 2-27 and Ziad 2-28.
Al-Kabbani Cricket Group defeated INMA by 30 runs. Al-Kabbani put on 160-9. Initially it lost wickets in a heap (48-5). Sohail then hit 44 to add 63 runs with Irfan 16. Rashid remained unbeaten on 36. Ikram scalped 2-17 and Safeeh 2-39. INMA, in response, managed 130-9. Nadeem tried his best with 48, Javeed 17 and Safi 12. Luqman Ulfat grabbed 3-27 and Imran Qaiser 2-21.
Cousins XI beat Edge Tek by 25 runs. Cousins XI hammered 158-9. Naveed Qamar stroked 26, Imran Sultan 26, Haider 16 and Imran Ali 16, Irfan Khan 17 and Haroon Rafeeq 15. Arsalan took 3-24 and Azhar 2-35. Edge Tek was bowled out for 133. Hamza hit 31, Inam 29, Mahi 28 and Azhar 16. Aqeel was the pick of the bowlers with 4-16. Naveed Qamar took 3-23.
AGA thrashed Bihar international Fighters by 84 runs. AGA tallied 211-7. Muzammil was the top scorer with 91 in 43 balls, studded with 2 sixes and 10 fours. Kamran hit 32, Jaan 20 and Fahad 27. Ashiq took 2-21 and Hanif 2-40. Bihar International Fighters was bowled out for 127. Zia made 37, Hanif 18, while Kashif and Tanveer hit 15 each. Hasan took 2-28.
Sadafco prevailed over Apex Express by 43 runs. Sadafco racked up 202-8. Ahmed smashed 70 in 32 balls with 8 fours and 2 sixes as he added 67 with Zameer (13) and then 55 with Ali Jaan (24). Malek Naeem hit 20 and Muneer Shoukat 17. Zubair took 3-37 and Ahmed 3-40. Apex Express replied with 159-5. Abubakr hit 44 as he stitched together 68 with Rizwan (36). Omar compiled 43 and Abdulazeez 23. Afridi took 2-17.
ALJ Toshiba downed ATC by 6 runs. ALJ Toshiba piled up 236-6. Osman hammered 92 in 50 balls with 5 sixes and 8 fours as he added 86 with Amir (29). Basheer remained unbeaten on 23, Zeeshan hit 21 and Zahid 19. AbdulKareem took 2-20. ATC, in response, batted magnificently to reach 230, just short of 6 runs. Usman Amjad blasted 100 in 47 balls with 6 sixes and 8 fours as he first added 47 with Rana Babar(13) then 62 with Abdulraheem (25) and then 50 with Kashif who remained unbeaten on 39. M. Ali scalped 2-37 and Bilal 2-50.
Royal Brothers beat Aziziya Elegant by 4 wickets. Aziziya Elegant posted 151-8. Imran remained unbeaten on 28, Atif hit 28, Abdullah 18, Muneer 18 and Sai 18. Saeed took 2-25. Royal Brothers reached 153-6 through Munir Khan (46 not out), Waqar (37), Abdullah (22) and Hanif Khan (19). Junaid took 2-30.
Al-Saudi Green trounced Arcoma by 3 wickets. Arcoma tallied 171-9. Ismail hit 42, Akram 27, Pervez Abdi 26, Nabeel 18 and Shareef 21. Munzir Kidwai took 2-26, Mazhar Abbasi 2-30 and Adil 2-34. Al-Saudi Green achieved 174-7. Kamran top scored with 90. He added 90 for the opening stand with Abbas Saad (24). Faisal stroked 26 and Nazeer Farooqui 22. Majid claimed 2-13, Asif 2-27and Nabeel 2-33.
