He said that the Kingdom and other Arab states would stand by Yemen until they have wiped out the enemy, represented by Houthis and the forces of deposed President Ali Abdullah Saleh. The Deputy Crown Prince made the remarks during an audience with the Yemeni tribal elders at the Royal Court in Riyadh on Wednesday evening.   Prince Muhammad said that the people of Yemen do not need to be helped by their brothers, and that if they are mobilized and stand up, they will wipe out the enemy and they won’t be stopped until reaching the enemy’s home.   “We, your brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Gulf Arab states, Egypt, Sudan, Jordan, Morocco and all around the Arab and Islamic world, cannot see the mobilization and standing up of Yemeni men without being beside them, and we are with you in every step to the last day in our lives, as we were in the past and we will be in the future,” he said.   In his address, the Deputy Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and the Crown Prince to the senior Yemeni tribal sheikhs. He emphasized the deep brotherly ties between the two countries and their peoples, saying “the Kingdom sees Yemen as the strategic depth of the Arab Nation, the depth of Arabs, the basis of Arabs and the origin of Arabs, and all our roots and races take their origin from Yemen.”   Prince Muhammad said that the biggest mistake committed by the enemy is that it tried to infringe on the depth and basis of Arabs, the sisterly Republic of Yemen, which led the Arab world to mobilize against what is happening in Yemen, and the table has turned in the past one and a half years, not only in Yemen, but throughout the Arab and Islamic world, as they made a mistake, by harming and planning to harm the depth of Arabs  — the state of Yemen.   Addressing the elders, Prince Muhammad said: “By God’s power and the determination of men like you, every enemy will be routed in Yemen and elsewhere. I am honored that I am among these men and among the Yemeni Arab tribes. It is an honor and a privilege to be amongst you today and work with you today.”   “God willing, the future is prosperous. This is a step, which is honorable and glorious for Yemen and the Arabs, and whatever you do will find a place in the annals of history. As you have inherited a glorious history from your ancestors, you will bequeath your sons and grandsons a shining history,” the Deputy Crown Prince added.   In his speech on behalf of the Yemeni tribal elders, Sheikh Mufreh Buhaibih thanked the Saudi government, headed by King Salman, for responding to the desire of the Yemeni sheikhs to meet with the Saudi leadership, stressing their support for the Yemeni legitimacy to restore security and stability to the country.   The meeting was also attended by Assistant Minister of Defense Mohammad Al-Ayish, Chief of General Intelligence Khaled Al-Humaidan, Advisor to the Royal Court and General Supervisor of the Office of Defense Minister Fahd Al-Issa, and a number of senior officials.   In a related development, Yemeni Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Maj. Gen. Hussein Arab praised the Kingdom’s pioneering position in leading the Arab Coalition to support the legitimate government in confronting coup forces.   Addressing the 34th session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Interior in Tunis on Wednesday, Arab said that the role of the Kingdom, at the head of the coalition, has made remarkable achievements in restoring most of the Yemeni territories from coup forces. He called on Arab countries to stand united and support Yemen to regain its leading role within the Arab security system.   Meanwhile, the Coalition Supporting Legitimacy in Yemen voiced deep concern over the worsening humanitarian situation in Yemen. In a statement, the Coalition recognized the grave humanitarian situation in the areas still being controlled by the coup forces, adding that it is doing its best to ensure food and medicine supplies to the Yemeni people.   “We share the concerns of the United Nations about the status of Hodeidah Port as being one of the most important Yemeni ports to deliver supplies and assistance. As this important port is under the control of Houthi rebels, it is now being used to smuggle weapons and people,” he said noting that Houthi militias are taking over the convoys of food and humanitarian supplies and selling them at double price to Yemeni citizens to finance their ongoing hostilities to undermine the legitimate government.   The Coalition pointed out that it has demanded the UN to exercise its control over the port of Hodeidah to ensure the free flow of humanitarian aid and access to its beneficiaries. It also confirmed the existence of other ports such as Aden and Mukalla, as well as a number of airports and land crossings are open to deliver supplies and humanitarian needs.
