MUMBAI – Actors Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha’s much-hyped and highly awaited upcoming film “Dabangg 2,” a sequel to 2010 blockbuster “Dabangg,” is finally slated for a Dec. 21 release.



Tarun Adaradh, a film trade analyst, tweeted that the film’s teaser will be unveiled today on the sets of the reality show “Bigg Boss 6,” which is aired on Colors. The celebrity guest will be the film’s director and Salman’s younger brother Arbaaz Khan. The full-length trailer will be launched the following day in a special episode of the reality show.



The music of “Dabbangg 2,” including five songs, will be launched on Nov. 15. Kareena Kapoor, Sinha and Malaika Arora will perform their respective item songs from the movie, ZoOm TV tweeted.



The question now is whether the film, like its prequel “Dabangg,” will be another RS200 crore grosser. — SG
