JAZAN — Jazan Health Affairs Directorate has begun investigating a doctor who accidentally cut a newborn during an operation.

After the operation, the newborn was taken to the nursery where nurses noticed bleeding.

The directorate’s spokesman Muhammad Al-Sumaili said the results of the investigation will be announced soon.
