In an exclusive new collection crafted by Swedish Artist, Cecilia Setterdahl, the artist designed limited edition carpets to adorn your home space. She believes using a splash of color, craftsmanship, distinctive designs and diamond motifs, can help achieve the potential of a confined space to the maximum. Cecilia along with her husband Michael relocated from Switzerland to the UAE to bring the Carpets CC concept to life in Dubai’s newly opened Design District.

“Painting is almost everything. It is the painter’s identity, style, conviction, and then color is just a gift to the drawing. I have been painting my whole life,” Cecilia Setterdahl told Saudi Gazette. “I do painting in acrylic on canvas, and design exclusively modern and bespoke limited edition carpets. I work with different interior designers and homeowners to put my creativity and style into their work, making it more glamorous, funky and tasteful with a hint of modernity. Inspired by the opulent patterns, my designs feature different motifs. These pieces of art are expertly and thoroughly hand-knotted in India with fine New Zealand wool or Afghan wools and sometimes with luminous silks in accordance with old and refined techniques which ensure its uniqueness and durability. It takes almost about 3 months to make a single carpet. But the end product is the marvel of artistic sublimity.”Cecilia inspired rugs can be used in your living room, vestibule, bedroom, bathroom or kitchen alike. Carpets CC carpets are made using different kinds of wool and from multiple sources; India, Nepal and Afghanistan but the primary source of wool is from New Zealand.
