October 21, 2017

Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi decorates Prince Sultan Bin Salman, president of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage, with the Tunisian First Order of Merit at a ceremony held at Carthage Presidential Palace in Tunis on Friday. This was in recognition of Prince Sultan’s immense contributions at the regional and international levels in various fields, especially in promoting Arab tourism. This was the second highest medal Prince Sultan received from a Tunisian president. In 1985, President Habib Bourguiba decorated him with Tunisia’s highest medal in recognition of his remarkable achievement as the first Muslim and Arab astronaut. -- SPA
