The Hot Chick’n puts a zesty spin on the Chick’n Shack, Shake Shack’s first-ever chicken offering that made its debut in the Middle East in 2016.
“We were blown away by our fans’ reactions to the Chick’n Shack, so we’ve cooked up a spicy variation to kick-off 2018 with some heat,” said Mark Rosati, Shake Shack’s Culinary Director. “The Hot Chick’n is flavor-packed, starting with our paprika and cayenne pepper blend and spicy slaw, balanced with cool, crunchy pickles all on top of our crisp chicken breast. It definitely brings the heat!”
The Hot Chick’n is crafted from a chicken breast —antibiotic free and with no added hormones ever — slow-cooked in a creamy buttermilk marinade, hand-dipped into Shack-made batter, dredged through seasoned flour and crisped to perfection. To add some crunch and heat, the chicken is topped with a Shack spice blend, spicy slaw, crispy pickles and served on a pillowy potato bun. — SG
