JEDDAH - Saudi fashion designer Heba Mojaddidi gave a lecture at Dar Al-Hekma University where she spoke about her successes, achievements and learning experiences throughout her career and interest in fashion which began when she was just 9.

Mojaddidi, who was recently announced as the brand ambassador for the Spanish jewelry, accessories and fashion firm TOUS, spoke to design students about what it takes to create something that grabs women’ attention and how to generate the inspiration necessary to accomplish such a task.

Addressing the full capacity room, she told students that her career in fashion began when she designed her first dress at the age of nine to attend her brother’s wedding.

She also said that Saudi women are living in an age of prosperity and have many opportunities and should exploit these opportunities to highlight their energy and talents. She focused on the importance of positivity in facing challenges and seizing opportunities, as well as having a clear vision while dealing with daily issues. - SG
