38 arrested for security crimes

RIYADH — In a preemptive operation, the Presidency of State Security arrested 38 people suspected of involvement in security cases.

The arrests of the suspects belonging to seven nationalities were made during the last 10 days without any armed confrontations.

The suspects included 16 Saudis, 13 Turks, Four Yemenis, two Afghanis and one Egyptian, Syrian, and Nigerian.

The presidency acted after getting a tip off that these suspects were planning to carry out attacks.
