Crackdown on illegal vendors

Food inspectors from the Misfalah branch municipality in Makkah organized a coordinate crackdown on illegal vendors of foodstuffs at the city’s Al-Nikasah market. The inspectors confiscated and destroyed more than 6 tons of rotten fish, 10 truckloads of fruit and vegetables from an unknown source and 400 live chickens during the campaign, according to head of the municipality Mustapha Bin Ali Eid.
